TechSmith Birthday Party Poster

TechSmith’s screen capture software is used in over 222 countries and territories by more than 65 million people. TechSmith takes pride in holding both casual and formal corporate events to show appreciation for their employees and provide opportunities for team bonding, and in February of 2020 they held their 32nd annual birthday party.

I was asked to design the print materials for their 80s/Stranger Things-themed party, which included posters, name tags, raffle tickets, and even a Snapchat Geofilter. Because the party was being held at a venue with two floors, they decided to dedicate the main floor to the general 80s theme, while reserving the downstairs level for the Stranger Things theme. This  main entrance poster was the perfect way to merge the two themes together while also reflecting the layout of the party venue. The rest of the print materials were based off of the main poster design, and I used elements from either the top or bottom half of the poster depending on which floor they were being displayed on.
